It's 5 a.m. and we are awake. By we, I mean me and Jonah. This is only voluntary for one of us. Guess which one. This is the time of day when he wants to lay on the floor and kick and wiggle and "tell me all about goo," as Matthew says. As long as he can see that I'm in the room and awake, he's happy. I'd be happier if this party would start later, but it's just as well. I've got an entire sock to knit before Thursday night, among other things, so may as well get an early start. A VERY early start, in this case.
These will be for my dad. He never reads my blog. He just scrolls through to see pictures of the kids. So, I think I'm safe. Think he'll like them?
I think he'll love them, esp. the silver striped toe and heel. Adds so much character to a black sock. Hope you have a wonderful and warm Merry Christmas!

Very manly.
But, um...what's that recipe peeking out from underneath. I've given up on sock knitting, but recipes and I are still friends.

Very cool! Homemade gifts....yeah...I've bought all my supplies for those. Does that count?
